Post 141 Recognized at Convention

2nd Vice Commander Jared Muse accepting the Operation Troop Support Award for Post 141 at the Iowa Department Convention.

The award reads as follows:

“PRESENTED TO THE POST WITH THE MOST ACTIVE TROOP SUPPORT SERVICES IN THEIR COMMUNITY, BASED ON ACTIVITIES BUILT AROUND INVOLVEMENT WITH LOCAL MILITARY FAMILIES AND ATTRACTING PARTICIPATION IN LEGION PROGRAMS. AWARD IS ALSO BASED ON DOCUMENTATION OF ASSISTANCE THAT INCLUDE READJUSTMENT BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY AND THROUGH THE FAMILY SUPPORT NETWORK.

Congrats to all Harvey T. Rimel American Legion Post 141 Family and our great community of Glenwood, IA and our surrounding communities and supporters. This award was given based on the information contained in the Consolidated Post Report (CPR) submitted every year by our Post Adjutant.
