The Iowa Department American Legion Convention will be help July 21 to July 23, 2017 at the Holiday Inn Des Moines Airport/Conference Center, 6111 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, IA 50321. The purpose of the Convention is for the election of Department Officers, ratification of the Department Constitution & By-Laws, and for establishing the policies and positions of The American Legion. Reports will be given by the Department Commissions & Committees on American Legion programs and numerous awards will be presented.
