Post 141 Facility Rental
Harvey T. Rimel American Legion Post 141 offers a welcoming gathering space in downtown Glenwood for community events, meetings, and private celebrations.
Our facility provides a comfortable environment for family gatherings, civic meetings, and local events while supporting the mission of the American Legion to serve veterans and the community.
Rental Information
Rental fees are $35 per hour for minimum of 4 hours or $295 per day. A $140 cleaning and damage deposit is required at the time of reservation.
The only exception to rental fees is for official voting, official Legion Family meetings (other than fundraising activities), and Mills County Veterans Affairs programs that provide informational or county-wide veteran services. These activities may be scheduled free of charge, with the standard $150 cleaning and damage deposit.

Capacity
The Post hall can comfortably accommodate approximately 100 guests depending on event setup.
Facility Features
- 10 round banquet tables (72″)
- 10 rectangular tables (8′)
- 100+ chairs available
- Large stage area for speakers, bands, or presentations
- Full kitchen with heavy-duty gas appliances
- Multiple electrical outlets behind serving window counters
- Volunteer-operated bar available for events (can also be closed behind an accordion door)
- ADA accessible restrooms
- Automatic front door openers for accessibility
- Second entrance/exit on the side of the building
- Back building access to alley and dumpster
