National Commander Charles Schmidt will take a two-day tour of Iowa on July 7 and 8, 2017. This will be Commander Schmidt’s only visit to Iowa this year and will be devoted to thanking some of those that have performed well this year and made his year successful.The itinerary for Commander Schmidt’s visit is below. All the posts that he is visiting have reached and surpassed their membership growth goal this year. He will also have a chance to meet our Department Oratorical Champion, Caleb Gipple of New Sharon, during his visit to Pella.
All of the events, particularly the post visits, are open to ALL members of the Legion Family and any member of the public that wishes to meet Commander Schmidt and listen to the Commander’s remarks.
